The TRENDnet TPL-430AP is a Powerline 1200 AV2 access point designed to extend or create a high-speed wireless network using a building’s existing electrical wiring. It is engineered for environments where conventional Wi-Fi signals are weak or unreliable, making it an ideal solution for homes and small offices that struggle with wireless dead zones. This device leverages your power outlets to transmit network data, effectively turning any electrical socket into a potential network connection point for robust internet access. At its core, the TPL-430AP integrates Powerline 1200 technology with a dual-band AC1200 wireless access point. This combination delivers theoretical Powerline speeds of up to 1200 Mbps and concurrent Wi-Fi speeds of up to 867 Mbps on the 5GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. Enhanced performance is achieved through MIMO with Beamforming technology, which provides a more stable and far-reaching signal over the electrical lines.
