The APC APCRBC105 is a sealed lead-acid replacement battery cartridge designed for select APC Smart-UPS models. IT administrators, network engineers, and data center personnel deploy this cartridge to maintain continuous backup power for servers, storage devices, and networking equipment. The APCRBC105 ensures critical systems remain operational during power outages and supports controlled shutdown procedures when the original UPS battery reaches end-of-life.
Each APCRBC105 unit delivers a nominal 12V DC output and supports hot-swappable replacement, allowing battery servicing without powering down the UPS or connected devices. Compatible Smart-UPS units automatically detect the cartridge, providing runtime monitoring, battery health status, and end-of-life alerts through the UPS management interface.
The cartridge is suitable for rack-mounted and tower UPS deployments, commonly installed in server rooms, branch office racks, or edge IT cabinets. Its compact form factor allows straightforward installation while maintaining proper airflow and clearance within the UPS chassis.
