Overview

The Eaton LS606M is a line power conditioner with automatic voltage regulation (AVR) designed to stabilise AC mains before it reaches sensitive electronic equipment. It is typically deployed by data centre facilities engineers, IT infrastructure teams, and AV/system installers where mains voltage fluctuations and transient events can impact uptime or equipment longevity. This device addresses brownouts, overvoltages and surge events without requiring active power circuitry or UPS batteries.

This unit is rated for 600 W continuous load at 120 VAC, 5 A and incorporates automatic voltage regulation that corrects undervoltages as low as 85 VAC and overvoltages up to 147 VAC back toward a regulated 120 V nominal output. It offers 720 joules of AC surge suppression plus EMI/RFI line noise filtering to provide cleaner, conditioned power to connected equipment.

LS606M fits desktop or small equipment rack environments where utility mains quality is inconsistent or subject to brownouts/overvoltage events. It is commonly used ahead of servers, network switches, workstations, AV gear, point‑of‑sale systems, and other sensitive electronics that benefit from regulated AC input.

Integration with existing electrical systems is straightforward: the unit includes a 6 ft NEMA 5‑15P input cord and provides six rear‑panel NEMA 5‑15R outlets. In practical deployments, LS606M is applied where mains voltage can dip or surge due to load swings, line noise, or generator transitions, and where UPS battery‑backup is not required (e.g., non‑critical computing zones, office AV installations). It is not a substitute for a UPS in environments requiring ride‑through during outages nor for installations needing networked power monitoring/control. It also is limited to 120 V single‑phase mains and has no 230 V support.
