The Tripp Lite by Eaton SRFAN3UDCTEMP is a specialized 3U SmartRack blanking panel designed to optimize airflow and thermal management within EIA-standard 19-inch rack enclosures. By filling unused rack space, this panel ensures proper air circulation, preventing hot air recirculation and directing cool air effectively across critical IT equipment. This fundamental improvement in cooling efficiency is crucial for reducing operating costs and extending the operational lifespan of valuable servers, switches, and other rack-mounted devices. This panel integrates two extra-quiet, four-inch 12VDC fans that actively pull cool air into the rack. Crucially, it includes a six-foot digital temperature sensor that can be strategically placed to identify and monitor hot spots anywhere within the enclosure. A front-panel LCD provides real-time temperature readings in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, allowing IT professionals to keep a close watch on environmental changes. The sensor accurately measures temperatures within a range of -58°F to 302°F (-50°C to 150°C) with an accuracy of ±2°F (±1°C).
