The HPE JG928A is a managed Gigabit Ethernet switch aimed at network engineers deploying mid?sized to large access or aggregation layers. It provides 48 on?board RJ?45 ports supporting 10/100/1000?Mbps with full IEEE?802.3at PoE+ capabilities and four dedicated 1?Gb SFP uplink ports. The 370?W PoE budget supports devices such as IP phones, wireless access points and surveillance cameras, while the switching capacity of 104?Gb/s and forwarding rate of 77.4?Mpps accommodate dense traffic use. It is designed for rack?mount deployment in enterprise wiring closets, edge data centres or campus aggregation points. Management is achieved via web UI, SNMP and limited CLI, and the device integrates with HPE?s IMC (Intelligent Management Center) for network monitoring and control.
