The StarTech WIR6CMRBL is a high-quality bulk Category 6 cable designed for large-scale networking installations in commercial and residential buildings. It solves the logistical challenges of custom-length cabling by providing 1000 feet of continuous wire in an easy-pull box, allowing technicians to run precise lengths for wall jacks, patch panels, and server racks without the waste or clutter of pre-terminated patch cords.

This cable is CMR (Riser) rated, making it safe for vertical installations between floors in non-plenum spaces. It is constructed with 23 AWG 100% copper wire, rather than copper-clad aluminum (CCA), ensuring superior conductivity, lower signal attenuation, and full compliance with ETL and UL safety standards. The cable features a physical divider (spline) between pairs to minimize Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT), enabling reliable 1Gbps performance and support for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications.

Optimized for IT infrastructure deployments, the WIR6CMRBL is ideal for Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, and security camera systems. It is not recommended for use in plenum air handling spaces (which require CMP-rated jackets) or for 10Gbps runs exceeding 55 meters (180 feet), where Cat6a would be the preferred standard.
