Overview
The Eaton INDGW-M3 is a Gigabit Industrial Gateway Card INDGW-M3for UPS and power management systems in enterprise IT, data centers, industrial automation, and critical infrastructure environments. It provides secure remote monitoring, control, and integration of Eaton UPS systems into networked power management platforms.
The card supports 1 Gbps Ethernet connectivity and enables communication through multiple industrial protocols including SNMP, HTTPS, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP, and REST APIs. It is built to integrate UPS systems into centralized monitoring platforms such as Eaton Brightlayer Data Centers and Intelligent Power Manager.
It is engineered for cybersecurity-focused deployments, featuring a zero-trust architecture, secure boot, TLS encryption, configurable firewall rules, and compliance with UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards. This makes it suitable for environments where secure power infrastructure monitoring is mandatory.
The INDGW-M3 is installed in compatible Eaton UPS mini-slot bays and is used to enable real-time visibility, event notifications, automated shutdown sequences, and predictive power event management. It is not a standalone networking device and does not function as a general-purpose Ethernet switch or router.
