Overview
The Eaton 93PXEBM240 is a 3U extended battery module (EBM) designed for use with Eaton 93PX three-phase UPS systems. It provides additional external battery capacity to increase runtime for critical IT loads in data centers, edge facilities, and enterprise power infrastructure.
It is used as a plug-and-play runtime expansion unit, connecting directly to compatible 93PX UPS systems through dedicated high-current battery connectors. The module is part of Eaton’s scalable runtime architecture, allowing multiple EBMs to be added depending on UPS power rating and required backup duration.
This EBM does not increase UPS power rating, only backup runtime. It is typically deployed in environments where longer ride-through time is required for generator start-up, graceful shutdown, or extended outage protection.
