Overview :

The Intellinet 342162 is a Category 6 U/UTP Ethernet patch cable designed for structured cabling, enterprise networking, and data center infrastructure. It provides reliable copper connectivity between switches, routers, servers, patch panels, workstations, and other RJ45-equipped network devices. Its snag-free boot design helps protect the connector latch during installation and maintenance.

Supporting data rates up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet and operating frequencies up to 250 MHz, the cable is suitable for Gigabit and 10GBASE-T network deployments within Cat6 distance limitations. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts improve corrosion resistance, while stranded 24 AWG conductors provide flexibility for patching applications. It also supports IEEE 802.3bt PoE++, making it suitable for powering IP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras, and other PoE-enabled devices.

The cable is intended for use in server rooms, network racks, telecommunications closets, enterprise offices, branch locations, and edge deployments requiring standard RJ45 Ethernet connectivity. It is compatible with T568A and T568B wiring schemes and interoperates with existing Category 5 and Category 5e infrastructure.

This cable is intended for copper Ethernet patching only. It should not be used where fiber-optic connectivity, outdoor-rated cabling, or shielded cabling is required for environments with significant electromagnetic interference.
