Overview
The Intellinet 342179 is a Category 6 U/UTP Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed copper network connections between switches, routers, patch panels, servers, and other RJ45-enabled devices. Its 10-foot length provides flexible deployment for structured cabling, enterprise LANs, telecommunications rooms, and data center installations.
Supporting data rates up to 10 Gbps with a maximum operating frequency of 250 MHz, the cable features 24 AWG stranded conductors, gold-plated RJ45 contacts, snag-free molded boots, and heavy-duty strain relief for dependable long-term performance. It supports all PoE standards up to IEEE 802.3bt, including PoE++, 4PPoE, and Ultra PoE.
The cable is suitable for enterprise networking, server racks, and edge deployments using standard U/UTP copper Ethernet infrastructure. It is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 installations and should not be used where shielded cabling or fiber-optic connectivity is required.
