The INTELLINET 742191 Cat6a S/FTP Network Patch Cable delivers high-performance, shielded 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity engineered for demanding network environments. Designed for IT professionals, network engineers, and systems integrators, it establishes reliable, low-latency interconnects between high-speed active equipment and patch distribution panels.

Constructed in a 1.5-meter (5 ft.) length, this black patch cable features S/FTP (Shielded/Foiled Twisted Pair) construction. Each pair is wrapped in an individual aluminum-mylar foil screen, and the entire assembly is enclosed in an overall aluminum braid shield to virtually eliminate electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio-frequency interference (RFI), and alien crosstalk. The 26 AWG stranded copper conductors attach to RJ45 male connectors plated with 50-micron gold to maintain optimal conductivity and resist corrosion. Molded snag-free boots protect the locking tabs from breaking during cable management and tight routing.

Certified up to 500 MHz and fully compliant with Augmented Category 6 (Cat6a) standards, the cable supports 10GBase-T networks up to 10 Gbps. It is ideal for data centers, server rooms, high-density patch panels, and enterprise networks carrying heavy data loads or Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. Do not use in outdoor runs without proper conduit or in plenum spaces requiring fire-rated CMP jacketing.
