Overview
Intellinet 516792 is a duplex single-mode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-speed optical connections between switches, patch panels, servers, storage systems, media converters, and fiber transceivers. It is suitable for enterprise networks, telecommunications rooms, campus backbones, and data center deployments requiring reliable long-distance fiber connectivity.
The cable features LC to LC UPC connectors with OS2 9/125 µm single-mode fiber, delivering low signal loss and high bandwidth for long-distance optical transmission. Its duplex construction provides dedicated transmit and receive paths and supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications and beyond.
Constructed with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket and non-metallic fiber, the cable provides immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and is suitable for indoor structured cabling installations. UPC-polished connectors improve return loss and optical performance.
This cable is intended for OS2 single-mode fiber deployments requiring LC-to-LC connectivity. It is not suitable for multimode fiber installations or equipment requiring different connector types.
