For example, in a wiring closet where you have dozens of IP phones, wireless access points and cameras, this module gives you 20???1Gb PoE+ RJ?45 ports plus 2???10?Gb SFP+ uplink ports so you can handle the access load and backhaul traffic without adding a separate switch. It fits into the zl slot architecture of compatible chassis and allows the network engineer to add PoE?enabled access ports in the same physical chassis used for aggregation or distribution.This module works best in campus or branch data?rooms where you already have a 5400R?zl2 or 5400?zl chassis and need to add PoE density without deploying a full new switch.
