Overview
The HPE R0X26A is a 5-slot modular switch chassis from the Aruba CX 6400 family designed for network engineers needing a compact but high-capability platform for access aggregation, campus core or data-center top-of-rack use. If you’re supporting future-proof speeds at 1/10/25/50/100 GbE for user access, uplinks or spine/leaf builds, this chassis gives you the form-factor and ecosystem to scale. The chassis supports the Aruba Gen7 ASICs, VSX high-availability architecture and flexible line-cards covering multiple port speeds. It’s especially suited to campus wiring rooms, enterprise aggregation closets or smaller data-centre racks where you need a smaller footprint but don’t want to compromise on modern network speeds or features.You deploy it by installing the chassis in a 19-inch rack (1U or 2U depending variant), installing management module, line-cards and appropriate power/fan modules. Then populate with the needed line-cards (e.g., 25/100 GbE modules) to match the access/uplink demands and integrate into your VXLAN/EVPN, segment routing or campus wired architecture.
