Overview
The HPE JQ075A is a high-density, ultra-low-latency top-of-rack (ToR) switch from the FlexFabric 5945 series, engineered for the aggregation or server access layer of large enterprise data centers. It addresses the demand for scalable, high-performance connectivity required by virtualized applications and heavy server-to-server traffic. This switch is also a capable core-layer solution for medium-sized enterprises. At its core, the JQ075A provides a flexible, modular platform with two expansion slots and two integrated 100GbE QSFP28 ports. This design allows for a customizable mix of 10/25/40/100GbE interfaces to meet specific throughput and density requirements. Its support for cut-through switching delivers wire-speed performance with less than 1 microsecond of latency, ensuring rapid response times for data-intensive workloads. Designed for resilience and simplified management, the unit supports HPE’s Intelligent Resilient Fabric (IRF) technology, which allows up to nine switches to be virtualized and managed as a single logical device. This 1U rack-mountable chassis is deployed in standard data center racks and managed through a comprehensive CLI, SNMP, or HPE’s Intelligent Management Center (IMC) for centralized control.
