Overview

The HPE JD448B (A‑WX5004) is a rack‑mount wireless LAN controller designed for medium to large deployments, supporting centralized management of up to 256 access points. It provides dual‑personality Ethernet ports to simplify aggregation and uplink connectivity and enables VLAN enforcement, QoS, and secure user access. The controller supports Layer‑3 roaming and fast roaming, making it suitable for voice-over-WLAN and high‑mobility environments. It is built for enterprise campus or branch networks where reliable centralized WLAN control and high performance are needed.
