StarTech CK4-P202 Secure 2-Port 4K KVM with NIAP PP 4.0 Certification
Overview :
The StarTech CK4-P202 is a professional-grade secure KVM switch designed to provide strict hardware-based isolation between two connected computers. Certified to the NIAP Protection Profile 4.0 standard, this device is engineered for high-security environments such as government agencies, defense contractors, and financial institutions where data leakage between classified and unclassified networks must be physically impossible.
Technically, the unit utilizes unidirectional optical data diodes on all peripheral paths, ensuring that data can only flow from the keyboard and mouse to the host computer, preventing any potential for “eavesdropping” or signal bleeding. It supports a single-monitor setup with high-performance video capabilities, delivering up to 4K resolution at 60Hz via DisplayPort or HDMI interfaces.
The CK4-P202 features an active anti-tamper system with internal sensors and an integrated battery. If the chassis is opened, the device permanently disables itself to prevent hardware-level exploitation. Unlike standard KVMs, it does not support keyboard hotkeys or software switching, relying instead on physical front-panel buttons to eliminate any vulnerability to software-based attacks or unauthorized network hopping.
