The Intel BX8071512900K is the boxed version of the Intel Core i9-12900K desktop processor from Intel’s 12th Generation Alder Lake family. It is designed for high-performance desktop systems including gaming PCs, content creation workstations, and productivity-heavy computing environments.

This processor uses a hybrid architecture with 16 total cores, consisting of 8 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores, delivering 24 threads. It operates at a 3.20 GHz base frequency and can boost up to 5.20 GHz depending on workload and thermal conditions. It includes 30 MB Intel Smart Cache for fast data access and improved responsiveness in demanding applications.

The CPU uses the LGA1700 socket and is compatible with Intel 600-series chipsets.
