The Intel BX8071512900KF is the boxed version of the Intel Core i9-12900KF desktop processor based on Intel’s 12th Generation Alder Lake architecture. It is designed for high-performance gaming systems, professional content creation rigs, and compute-heavy workstation workloads requiring strong multi-core throughput and high turbo frequencies.

This processor features a hybrid architecture with 16 total cores, combining 8 Performance-cores and 8 Efficient-cores, delivering 24 threads. It operates at a 3.20 GHz base frequency and can boost up to 5.20 GHz under turbo conditions, depending on workload and thermal headroom. It includes 30 MB Intel Smart Cache for fast data access in demanding applications such as rendering, simulation, and gaming.

The CPU uses the LGA1700 socket and supports Intel 600-series chipsets.
