Intel E810XXVDA4 Network Adapter
Overview :
The Intel E810XXVDA4 is a high-performance Intel Ethernet Network Adapter from the Intel 800 Series (E810 family), designed for enterprise data centers, cloud infrastructure, virtualization environments, and high-bandwidth storage networks. It is built for workloads requiring low latency, high throughput, and advanced hardware offload capabilities.
This adapter is based on the Intel Ethernet Controller E810 and provides quad-port 25GbE connectivity using SFP28 interfaces, supporting 25/10/1GbE per port depending on configuration. It connects via a PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface, delivering high aggregate bandwidth suitable for modern server deployments.
It supports SFP28 optical modules, DAC, and AOC cables, allowing flexible deployment in short-range and long-range data center environments. The adapter also includes advanced virtualization and acceleration features such as SR-IOV, VMDq, and RDMA (RoCEv2 and iWARP), which reduce CPU overhead and improve performance in virtualized workloads and storage networking.
This model is strictly intended for server and data center use and requires compatible SFP28 switching infrastructure and proper rack cooling. It is not suitable for desktop systems.
