Intel E810XXVDA2BLK – 25GbE Network Adapter
Overview
The Intel E810XXVDA2BLK is a dual-port 25GbE PCIe 4.0 Ethernet adapter designed for high-throughput server and storage environments. It is built for enterprise data centers, virtualization clusters, cloud deployments, NFV workloads, and high-performance storage networks requiring low-latency Ethernet connectivity.
The adapter uses dual SFP28 interfaces supporting 25GbE, 10GbE, and 1GbE connectivity over DAC, AOC, and optical transceivers. Intel’s E810 controller enables RDMA support through both RoCEv2 and iWARP, along with advanced virtualization technologies including SR-IOV, VMDq, and Application Device Queues (ADQ). These features help reduce CPU overhead and improve traffic isolation for virtualized and containerized workloads.
Deployment targets include rack servers, hyperconverged infrastructure, software-defined storage, AI/HPC clusters, and edge compute platforms using PCIe 4.0 x8 expansion slots. The card supports both full-height and low-profile brackets for flexible server integration.
The E810XXVDA2BLK is compatible with modern server operating systems and virtualization platforms supporting Intel E810 drivers. It is not intended for desktop networking or environments limited to legacy PCIe bandwidth and non-SFP28 infrastructure.
