Overview:
The Intellinet 780094 is a 5-in-1 cable tester designed to verify the continuity, crossover, and shorting of five common network and computer cable types . It is used by network installers and IT technicians for troubleshooting and verifying cable integrity.
This tester solves the challenge of carrying multiple specialized testers by combining capabilities for Ethernet (RJ45), 10Base2 (BNC), RJ11, USB, and FireWire (IEEE-1394) cables into a single tool . It tests cables up to 180 m (600 ft.) in length and features LED indicators for each of the 8 pins, providing clear fault identification . The compact design includes a remote unit and a protective storage pouch .
Deployment is ideal for field technicians, data center engineers, and network administrators. The device is designed for benchtop or portable use. It is NOT suitable for testing fiber optic cables or for active, energized network lines.
