Overview :
The HPE JD099B is a 1 Gigabit Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver module intended for network engineers requiring a full-duplex, single-mode fibre link over up to 10 km. It supports the IEEE 802.3ah 1000BASE-BX10-D specification, using a simplex LC connector with a single fibre strand, which simplifies cabling in carrier and enterprise edge deployments. It is suited for campus horizontal/vertical uplinks, data-centre access, or metro edge interconnects where single-fibre infrastructure is in place. Integration is seamless with HPE X120-series switch platforms and other HPE Networking gear supporting SFP BX10-D modules. This module enables you to convert one strand of single-mode fibre into a 1 Gbps link, reducing fibre-count requirements in retrofit or constrained cabling environments.
