Overview
The AddOn LFP414-AO is a Black Box® LFP414-compatible 1000BASE-EX SFP transceiver designed for Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over single-mode fiber. It provides a reliable optical interface for enterprise, campus, and data center network deployments while maintaining compatibility with supported Black Box networking equipment.
The module supports Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-EX) communication over single-mode fiber at a wavelength of 1310 nm with a maximum transmission distance of up to 40 km. It features an LC duplex optical interface, Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), hot-swappable operation, and compliance with Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards for seamless integration.
This transceiver is suitable for enterprise networks, metropolitan links, and data center backbone connections requiring long-distance Gigabit fiber connectivity. It should not be used with multimode fiber or equipment that does not support standard SFP interfaces.
