Overview

The APC ACDC2016 is an electromechanical ceiling‑panel locking system for NetShelter / EcoAisle containment configurations. It provides a secure lock for the overhead containment structure, preventing unauthorized access to the aisle roof. Unlike purely mechanical locks, this unit includes a power supply (100–120 V) to drive the lock system, enabling controlled locking and integration with more advanced infrastructure.In real-world containment deployments, you install this system when you want to secure the ceiling tiles of your hot- or cold-aisle containment and potentially integrate with fire / security infrastructure: its power-backed lock ensures the containment roof stays sealed except when authorized panels are opened. The system supports up to 30 electromechanical locks per power box, giving granular security control over long containment runs.
