Overview
The APC ACDC2500 is a roof‑height adapter used in NetShelter aisle‑containment systems to add vertical clearance above 42U SX racks. Engineers install it when the containment ceiling (or ductwork) is higher than the top of the SX rack, but they want to maintain the same aisle‑containment architecture. By increasing the frame height by 300 mm, this adapter ensures thermal containment stays sealed without forcing a rack swap. It’s particularly useful in retrofit deployments where ceiling infrastructure or airflow components were designed for a taller rack profile.
