Overview
The APC ACDC2513 is a structural adapter designed for use in the NetShelter aisle‑containment system deployed in data‑centres and network rooms. When your existing 42U SX rack needs to match a containment ceiling height or duct run built for 48U SX racks, this adapter adds a vertical extension of approximately 600 mm (≈ 23.6 in). By doing so it enables the rack to align perfectly with the overhead containment rails, duct work or ceiling panels — thus maintaining the thermal barrier between cold aisle and hot aisle. This ensures consistent airflow separation and preserves containment integrity without replacing the rack itself.
