The APC AP4453A is a rack‑mounted automatic transfer switch (ATS) designed to maintain AC power continuity for single‑powered IT loads by automatically transferring the load between two redundant 120 V AC sources without manual intervention. This device is deployed by data center engineers and facilities teams in server, networking, and telecom cabinets where uninterrupted supply from dual sources such as separate UPS or utility feeds is mandated.
It supports dual AC inputs via two NEMA L5‑30P inlet connectors, accepting up to 30 A continuous current at 120 V AC.
