Overview
The APC APCRBC114 is a sealed lead-acid replacement battery cartridge designed for select APC Smart-UPS models. IT administrators, network engineers, and data center personnel deploy this cartridge to maintain uninterrupted backup power for servers, storage systems, and network devices. The APCRBC114 ensures critical equipment continues operating during utility outages and supports controlled shutdown procedures when the original UPS battery reaches end-of-life.
Each APCRBC114 unit delivers a nominal 12V DC output and supports hot-swappable replacement, allowing battery servicing without powering down the UPS or attached devices. Compatible Smart-UPS units automatically detect the cartridge, integrating runtime monitoring, battery health reporting, and end-of-life alerts through the UPS management interface.
The cartridge is suitable for both rack-mounted and tower UPS deployments, commonly installed in server rooms, branch office racks, or edge computing cabinets. Its compact form factor allows straightforward installation while maintaining proper airflow and clearance within the UPS chassis.

The APCRBC114 is not compatible with non-APC UPS systems, industrial high-voltage UPS units, or chemistries other than sealed lead-acid.
