Overview
The APC APCRBC154 is a sealed lead-acid replacement battery cartridge for select APC Smart-UPS models. IT administrators, network engineers, and data center personnel use this cartridge to maintain continuous backup power for servers, storage systems, and network devices. The APCRBC154 ensures critical equipment remains operational during utility outages and supports controlled shutdown procedures when the original UPS battery reaches end-of-life.
Each APCRBC154 unit provides a nominal 12V DC output and features hot-swappable design, allowing replacement without powering down the UPS or connected equipment. Compatible Smart-UPS units automatically detect the cartridge upon installation, enabling runtime monitoring, battery health reporting, and end-of-life alerts through the UPS management interface.
The cartridge is suitable for rack-mounted and tower UPS deployments, commonly installed in server rooms, branch office racks, or edge computing cabinets. Its compact form factor allows straightforward installation while maintaining proper airflow and clearance within the UPS chassis.
