APC AR106SH4 is a 6U wall‑mount rack enclosure from the NetShelter WX series designed to mount rack‑mountable IT equipment — such as switches, patch panels, and compact appliances — on vertical surfaces where floor cabinets aren’t feasible. This enclosure is deployed by network and systems engineers in edge closets, IDF/MDF rooms, and branch office environments with limited footprint. It solves constrained‑space mounting while retaining structured rack standards and cable access.

Mechanically, AR106SH4 supports 6 rack units (6U) of standard 19‑inch EIA‑310 equipment with a maximum usable depth near 329 mm and a static load capacity around 90.7 kg (200 lb) when anchored properly to a wall structure. The enclosure ships fully assembled, simplifying installation.

The enclosure fits network closets, telecom rooms, retail or healthcare IT spaces, and other environments where a compact rack is required near cable infrastructure. The front door is perforated and reversible, enabling adaptation to installation constraints while providing passive airflow through installed equipment.

Integration with infrastructure includes top and bottom ½U knockouts for cable entry or accessory installation (such as fan trays or patch panels). The reversible door uses a locking swing handle to support basic access control where physical security of rack equipment matters.
