The APC AR8100 is a rack hardware mounting kit containing M6‑series cage nuts, screws, and washers intended for securing equipment to square‑hole mounting rails in standard rack cabinets. This kit includes 32 sets of M6 cage nuts, 32 nylon washers, and 32 slot/Phillips screws to support consistent fastening across rack elevations, particularly in 600 mm‑wide enclosure rails with square hole patterns. These components are essential for maintaining proper EIA‑310‑D rail engagement and preventing equipment loosening under vibration or load.
