Overview :

The APC SMX3000LV is a line‑interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to provide short‑duration backup power and power conditioning for IT infrastructure. It is typically deployed by network engineers and data centre technicians for protecting servers, networking equipment, and storage systems against utility power failures, sags, and spikes.

With a 3000 VA / 2700 W capacity, the unit supports mission‑critical loads during outages while providing automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to correct undervoltages and overvoltages without engaging the battery system. It uses a line‑interactive topology with a sine wave output to ensure clean power delivery to sensitive electronics.

The UPS is designed in a 4U rackmount/tower convertible form factor, making it suitable for IDF/MDF racks or edge server cabinets where vertical space is available. Its standard 120 V nominal input/output configuration aligns with North American power systems.
