The APC SRT96RMBP is an external rackmount battery pack engineered to extend the runtime of compatible APC Smart‑UPS On‑Line 3 kVA systems with a 96 V DC battery architecture. It is deployed by IT infrastructure, facilities, and data center teams to provide additional backup power during extended utility outages and support orderly shutdown of critical loads.

This battery pack uses sealed lead‑acid (VRLA) technology configured for a 96 V DC output and includes two internal battery cartridges (APCRBC152) that are hot‑swappable, allowing maintenance or replacement without interrupting protected loads when installed per APC guidelines.

Designed as a 2U rackmount module, the SRT96RMBP fits standard 19″ cabinets and includes rack mounting hardware. Its compact footprint supports integration adjacent to the connected UPS unit while conserving rack space for other infrastructure components.
