The APC SRYLIM is a replacement intelligence module designed for Smart-UPS Modular Ultra systems. It’s used by data-center and high-availability engineers to restore or add monitoring capability within a UPS that supports redundant intelligence modules. This module provides critical control and diagnostics for running and managing the UPS, helping to ensure continuous power protection. Since many Smart-UPS Modular Ultra units support two intelligence modules for redundancy, the SRYLIM can be installed without disrupting backup or monitoring functionality. It fits into the front-mount slot of the UPS chassis, making it easy to service or replace without moving existing power or battery modules. It works seamlessly within the APC Modular Ultra management architecture, and integrates into the UPS’s fault detection, firmware updating, and status-reporting systems.
