Overview :
The APC SRYLSBP20KP is a dedicated service bypass unit designed for insertion into a UPS system to allow uninterrupted service during maintenance. An engineer installs this unit so that the utility supply can bypass the UPS while the UPS is being serviced, thereby preventing downtime in critical power applications. It supports input and output voltage of 200/208/230/240 V and a maximum current of 125 A, enabling it to handle significant load levels found in data centre or enterprise-class modules. This module is suited for rack-mounted installation (4U height) within environments such as server rooms, network closets, or data centre enclosures, where the associated UPS system (e.g., Smart-UPS Modular Ultra) resides. It integrates seamlessly into the broader power infrastructure and leverages the OEM’s enclosure and mounting architecture for consistent deployment across branch, campus, or full-scale data centre installations.
