The ASUSTOR AS7216RDX, branded as the LOCKERSTOR 16R Pro Gen2, is an enterprise-class rackmount NAS platform designed for virtualization, centralized storage, backup infrastructure, media production, and large-scale business deployments. Built for high availability and performance, it combines AMD Ryzen processing, ECC memory, and redundant power architecture in a rack-optimized design.

Powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 7745 processor featuring 8 cores and 16 threads, the system delivers enterprise-grade compute performance for virtual machines, containerized applications, file services, and intensive multi-user workloads. The NAS ships with 16GB ECC DDR5-4800 memory and supports expansion up to 192GB.

The platform supports sixteen 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA drives and includes dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports alongside dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. PCIe Gen5 expansion slots enable deployment of high-speed networking, SAS controllers, and future infrastructure upgrades.
