The Black Box LGC5151A is a compact gigabit Media converter engineered to bridge copper Ethernet and fiber optic networks. With two auto-negotiating 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ‑45 copper ports and one 1000 Mbps multimode fiber port (SC duplex, 850 nm), it enables seamless extension of LANs up to approximately 550 meters (0.5 km). Featuring auto-MDIX crossover, jumbo frame support, and link-fault detection, this converter ensures reliable performance in office, campus, or high-EMI environments
