The Eaton 9PX8KMG2 (9PX Generation 2 Series) is an 8000VA/8000W online double-conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) configured with an included MBP11K208G2 maintenance bypass module. Data center engineers, enterprise system administrators, and infrastructure facilities teams deploy this high-capacity system to sustain continuous power normalization for hyperconverged hardware, massive storage area networks (SAN), and dense cloud computing nodes.

Operating with true online double-conversion topology, the device isolates attached network components from public grid fluctuations by continuously converting incoming AC to DC, then regenerating it into a clean pure sine wave. The system functions at a unity (1.0) power factor when configured between 220V and 240V, converting every volt-ampere directly into an equivalent watt of real power capacity to maximize rack space performance. The factory-packed maintenance bypass module allows technicians to perform full hot-swappable chassis replacements or active service tracks without disrupting downstream critical processing states.

This UPS configuration demands 4U of rack space within standard 19-inch 4-post hardware enclosures or operates as a standalone vertical tower. Both primary input routing and standard power delivery utilize terminal block hardwired connections, supplemented by four high-voltage NEMA L6-30R outlets. Do not supply this system with standard low-voltage 120V input utility lines, as its internal rectifier circuits are designed strictly for high-voltage single-phase operation.
