Overview
The Eaton 9SX2000 is a compact, tower-form online double-conversion UPS designed for mission-critical IT, network closets and edge infrastructure. With a 2 kVA (2000 VA) rating and ~1.8 kW output at a 0.9 power factor, it delivers true sine-wave output and maintains full voltage regulation under a wide range of input conditions, ensuring server racks, network gear and storage arrays remain protected during mains disturbances. The unit employs advanced ABM battery-management technology to extend battery life by up to 50%, supports hot-swappable internal batteries and can be paired with optional external battery modules (EBMs) for extended runtime. Communication ports including USB, RS-232 and a Mini-Slot expansion port allow integration with network management systems, enabling remote monitoring, load-shed controls and graceful shutdowns. Set in a compact chassis (13.6″ H × 8.4″ W × 16.2″ D), the 9SX2000 is ideal for environments where space is at a premium yet reliable, clean power is non-negotiable.
