Overview
The Eaton APSX3024SW is a heavy-duty 3 000 W continuous (up to ~6 000 W peak) pure-sine inverter/charger designed for 24 V DC input systems that need 230 V AC output—such as mobile vehicles, remote sites, emergency power systems or off-grid installations. It automatically transfers loads from AC mains to battery-inverter when necessary and includes built-in battery charging capability (selectable 23 A or 90 A mode) for system integration.
Installation is hard-wired (no standard NEMA plug), designed for battery bank input and AC output via terminal strip; it supports normal operation from AC mains (charging batteries and powering loads) or from a 24 V battery bank when mains is unavailable. The system corrects brownouts/over-voltage automatically via built-in AVR during standby mode and seamlessly transfers to battery-inverter mode in pull-in milliseconds when mains fail.
From a network-engineer’s view: this device is ideal when you are powering servers, switching gear or equipment racks in a vehicle, remote shelter or micro-data-site where 24 V DC battery infrastructure is present—or where you want one unit to act as both charger and inverter. You can connect external battery banks of your choice to scale runtime. The pure-sine output means you can confidently power active-PFC equipment rather than only simple loads.
