Tripp Lite B030‑DP16‑17DIP – 16‑Port DisplayPort KVM Console
Overview
The Tripp Lite B030‑DP16‑17DIP is a rack‑mount KVM switch console combining a 17‑inch LCD, keyboard, and touchpad with a 16‑port DisplayPort KVM switch and built‑in IP remote access. It is used by data center and infrastructure engineers to locally and remotely manage up to 16 servers or computers from a single console, reducing operational overhead and physical console count.
This unit integrates a 16‑port DisplayPort KVM switch with a 17″ LCD (43.2 cm) Full HD display capable of up to 1920×1080 @ 60 Hz video resolution. Its dual‑rail design allows the LCD to remain open while the keyboard/touchpad slides back for rack clearance. Local access is via pushbuttons, hotkeys, or on‑screen display (OSD), while networked systems can be accessed through the built‑in IP remote module over LAN/WAN/Internet.
The console mounts in 1U of EIA‑standard 19″ rack space with included brackets and hardware, and its metal chassis supports enterprise rack environments. USB and DisplayPort interfaces provide local connectivity, and the embedded network interface supports IPv4, IPv6, and DHCP addressing for remote administration.
Security features include multi‑level user authentication and support for directory services (RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory), plus advanced encryption standards (AES, 3DES, DES) for remote sessions. Up to 64 user accounts can be authorized with 32 concurrent remote sessions.
This console is suited for server room rack deployments where local and remote control of 16 DisplayPort‑equipped systems is required, but it is not designed as a standalone KVM extender or for use with non‑DisplayPort video configs without appropriate adapters.
