Overview
The Eaton B156-002-8K is a 2-port DisplayPort 1.4 multi-monitor splitter designed for high-resolution digital signage, control room visualization, enterprise AV distribution, and video wall deployments. It enables a single DisplayPort source to drive two DisplayPort monitors simultaneously using Multi-Stream Transport (MST) technology.
The splitter supports mirrored, extended desktop, and video wall display modes with resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz in video wall configurations. It delivers 32.4 Gbps DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth, HDR support, HDCP 2.3 compatibility, and uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for high-fidelity video output in graphics-intensive environments.
Its plug-and-play architecture eliminates software installation requirements, simplifying deployment across conference rooms, retail signage, education facilities, hospitality installations, and enterprise presentation systems. LED indicators provide operational status monitoring for active display connections.
The B156-002-8K is intended for DisplayPort-based AV distribution requiring multi-display expansion from a single source system. It is not suitable for HDMI-only display infrastructures without adapters or for IP-based AV-over-network environments.
