Overview
The Eaton B156E-002-H8K-K is a DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI multi-monitor splitter and extender kit engineered for long-distance digital signage, AV distribution, and video wall deployments. It extends DisplayPort video and audio signals to two remote HDMI displays over Cat6 cabling with support for mirrored, extended desktop, and video wall configurations.
The kit supports UHD resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz in video wall mode and 4K at 60 Hz per display in extended or mirrored operation. HDR, HDCP 2.3, 12-bit Deep Color, and uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling support enable high-quality AV delivery for digital signage, control rooms, enterprise presentation systems, and broadcast display infrastructure.
Power over Cable (PoC) technology supplies power to the remote receivers through Cat6 cabling, reducing dependency on local AC power near displays. The extender supports transmission distances up to 230 feet with zero latency, making it suitable for conference rooms, retail environments, hospitality displays, education facilities, and command-center installations.
This model is designed for fixed HDMI display extension and multi-screen AV distribution using DisplayPort sources. It is not intended for USB peripheral extension, IP-based AV routing, or environments requiring HDMI input sources.
