Overview :
The Eaton DIN500AC is a compact DIN-rail mount uninterruptible power supply (UPS) delivering 500 VA / 300 W of backup power for single-phase AC systems. It is designed for engineers and technicians tasked with securing control systems, network nodes or automation modules in industrial cabinets where mains disturbance or outages are a risk. With hardwired L, N, G inputs and outputs, the unit fits directly into 35 mm “top-hat” DIN rails and replaces or complements conventional panel-mounted protection. Its rated ambient operation of 0 °C to 50 °C ensures full capacity in many factory-floor, edge-computing, or machine-control environments. The UPS includes a USB HID communication interface for monitoring via Eaton’s PowerAlert Office software and supports automatic restart upon mains recovery — a useful feature in remote or unattended enclosures.
