The Eaton EMAT08‑10 is a managed rack power distribution unit (PDU) engineered for IT power infrastructure where remote control and monitoring of rack loads are required. It’s installed by data center and network engineers in server racks, IDF/MDF closets, or edge cabinet environments to centrally distribute AC power while enabling network‑accessible outlet management. Managed capability solves the need for outlet control and consumption visibility that basic PDUs do not provide.

This unit supports single‑phase 120 V AC with a 12 A (≈1.44 kW) load capacity, fed from a NEMA 5‑15P input with a 10 ft (3.05 m) cord. It delivers power to eight NEMA 5‑15R outlets in a 1U horizontal rack form factor. The managed platform provides outlet‑level switching and remote power control when connected to Eaton’s management interface.

Mechanically, the EMAT08‑10 fits a standard 19‑inch EIA rack occupying 1U of vertical space and integrates with rack mounting hardware for secure deployment in dense rack environments. Its compact depth maintains compatibility with a wide range of rack depths.
