Overview
The Eaton N845A-02M-12TAA is a multimode OM4 fiber optic cable designed for high-density 40/100GbE data center interconnects and backbone patching applications.
It uses a 12-fiber MPO female-to-female Type-A polarity configuration for straight-through connectivity between switches, patch panels, and network infrastructure equipment in enterprise and colocation environments.
The cable supports 100Gb Ethernet transmission up to 100 meters at 1300 nm and remains backward compatible with 10Gb, 25Gb, and 40Gb network architectures for staged infrastructure upgrades.
Its OFNP plenum-rated aqua jacket supports installation in raised floors, ceiling pathways, and regulated enterprise cabling environments where fire resistance and cable identification are required.
This cable is intended for multimode MPO infrastructure and should not be used in single-mode fiber deployments or LC-based patching environments.
