The Eaton NG5POE-M2 is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that provides five 2.5 Gbps RJ45 ports plus one 10 Gbps SFP+ uplink, along with Power over Ethernet (PoE+) support. It is suited for small offices, workgroups, or edge deployments needing both network connectivity and PoE power on limited ports — for example powering IP cameras, VoIP phones, or wireless access points without separate adapters. The switch auto-negotiates link speed and supports auto MDI/MDIX, so you do not need crossover cables or manual configuration. The NG5POE-M2’s compact desktop or wall-mountable metal enclosure makes it practical for cramped networking closets or small racks. With a 70 W total PoE power budget and support for IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards, it can reliably deliver power and data over the same cables while remaining energy-efficient via IEEE 802.3az support.
