The Eaton NPOE-EXT-2X1G30 (Tripp Lite Series) is a hardened 2-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ extender and repeater designed for demanding environments. Network administrators, security engineers, and outdoor facility managers deploy this inline device to break through the standard 328-foot (100-meter) limit of Ethernet copper cabling without installing local AC lines.

The device splits a single incoming high-power Type 4 PoE++ stream (up to 95W input) into two separate Gigabit PoE+ lines. This allows operators to run two remote surveillance cameras, VoIP systems, or wireless access points from one source line. For long-distance outdoor layouts, technicians can cascade up to three individual units in series to push data and power out to a maximum range of 1,312 feet (400 meters).

Housed in a rugged aluminum enclosure, the hardware features an IP67 weatherproof rating and an IK10 vandal-resistance certification. This makes it suitable for mounting on highway poles, manufacturing floors, or high-risk exterior walls. Never submerge the unit continuously beyond its 30-minute rating, and ensure the bundled waterproof cable glands are tightened completely with the provided wrench during installation to prevent moisture ingress.
