Overview
The Eaton P568F-25M-8K6 is a 25-meter HDMI 2.1 active optical cable (AOC) designed for long-distance, high-bandwidth video transmission in enterprise AV, digital signage, control rooms, and high-end workstation deployments. It uses fiber-optic conductors to maintain signal integrity over extended runs where copper HDMI cables are not viable due to attenuation or EMI.
It supports up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma sampling, HDR, and a 48 Gbps bandwidth pipeline consistent with HDMI 2.1-class performance.
The cable is plenum-rated (CMP), making it suitable for in-ceiling, in-wall, and structured cabling installations in commercial environments.
Designed for fixed infrastructure deployments, the cable is unidirectional and powered directly from the source device, eliminating the need for external power modules. Correct orientation (Source → Display) is required during installation.
This model is intended strictly for point-to-point HDMI extension. It is not suitable for switching, matrix routing, or HDMI-to-IP conversion systems.
